Expansion of cooking diplomacy with collaboration of the Asian Mayors forum and Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO) 
of Mashhad

Art diplomacy of cooking is as old as diplomacy itself, but it is considered as an institutionalized and new targeted approach. However, some countries such as France will benefit from it for many years. Cooking diplomacy is subset of cultural diplomacy and it is defined as: obtaining the minds and hearts of the people and nations through their innate interest to food. Applications and benefits of cooking diplomacy are diversified. Some countries use it for national branding, some in order to encourage of national culture or a dozen other purpose. Cooking diplomacy was done in Iran at 1393 with the idea and support of Secretary General of Asian Mayors Forum on the sidelines of the fourth Asian Mayors Forum in Haikou, China. This action was considered by Mayors from different countries and professional experts in food and beverages section.
So, a cooking competition was conducted in order to evaluate and identify the Iranian Cooking and specialists potentials and it is done with the cooperation of Asian Mayors Forum and the Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO)of Khorasan Razavi. During the ceremony, Secretary General of Asian Mayors Forum noted the important role of Cooking diplomacy in attracting tourists and said: creation has positive impact on work and creative is a person who has insight. Creative person sees and hears what no one have seen or heard up to now. The leading countries in the field of tourism, such as Thailand, Japan, France, Mexico attract tourist with the introduction of their traditional foods and applying creativity in it. So, Meanwhile Cooking diplomacy is one of the most effective ways to introduce Iran and Iranian culture. Unfortunately these potential still remains dormant despite the richness of the food in Iran, and it have not been taken effective actions for the Introduction and optimal use of it. The training of experts in art of cooking and familiar with scientific principles is one of the important issues in this way. So we decided raise Iranian Cooking at the international level. August sixth is national day of skills, entrepreneurship and technical-Vocational training in Iran, it is hoped by regarding the ability of this organization in professional training and expansion of skills training and job seekers, this festival will be a platform to spread the culture of learning and creating sustainable jobs and also improve services to the residents and travelers.
